What is pre-wire?
The installation of low voltage wiring during home construction that will connect to your audio, video, phones, computer networking, surveillance and home control.
Which homes and businesses need pre-wiring?
All will benefit from pre-wiring if you plan on having any of the following: a telephone, cable or satellite television, High Definition or 3D TV, video surveillance (security cameras), a home network, multi-room music or home theater. All of the devices mentioned above require wiring. Wiring installed during construction results in a quality wiring system neatly concealed at a reasonable cost. To achieve the same quality and concealment after construction is extremely labor intensive and sometimes impossible. This is why we highly recommend John-Alleth` Technology pre-wiring; it’s the best job for the least cost to you.
When and how you need to be involved?
Begin planning your pre-wire at the same time you are designing your home. This allows you to budget for the pre-wire, termination costs, as well as the desired equipment during the design phase.
